History of the Company
In December 2021
CMT Rare Metals Advanced Materials (Hunan) Co., Ltd. was established.
In September 2020
ZCC’s former Refractory Metals Division and Hunan Nonferrous New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. were reorganized into the CMT Refractory Metals Division.
In March 2020
ZCC’s former W & Mo Products Division and Ta & Nb Products Division merged into the Refractory Metals Division.
In March 2002
it was wholly restructured as Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Group Corp., Ltd.
In November 1972
it was named Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Works.
In 1959
ZCC’s Ta &Nb pyro-metallurgical production line (the former No.10 workshop) was completed and put into operation.
In 1958
ZCC’s W & Mo workshop was set up and put into operation.
In April 1954
the factory started construction and in May 1955 it was named Hunan Smelter. Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Group Corp., Ltd. (hereinafter called ZCC for short) started its construction.
